Colocynth for colic

Severe pain in the abdomen area is often referred to as colic. Colocynth is very effective in treating abdominal cramps and is indicated in pains that are often very violent, sudden and are of crampy character. Pains are severe and force the patient to bend double for relief. Colic comes with indigestion, over-excitement or anger. Such abdominal pains may be associated with diarrhoea, vomiting or nausea.
